                                                  BizPrint PNG Installs The First EcooGraphix CTP Solution in Papua New Guinea

BizPrint PNG has installed the first EcooGraphix Computer-to-Plate (CTP) system in the Papua New Guinea region, showing the Asia-Pacific region is moving ahead with prepress technology for printers.
The installation involved the replacement of an obsolete and failed CTP system with the new EcooGraphix T400 CTP, allowing BizPrint PNG to restore plate production. By integrating the new CTP with BizPrint’s existing Xitron RIP, G2 Systems was able to deliver this upgrade without the need for extensive workflow changes or additional software investment.
BizPrint PNG executive general manager Bryan Wareing said, “The installation and training went very smoothly, and we were back producing plates within two days. Reusing our existing RIP system made this a very practical and cost-effective solution for our operation”.
G2 Systems director Bernie Hockings said, “The EcooGraphix T400  features the latest thermal imaging head technology, dynamic autofocus, and a reliable plate clamping system, which all provides consistent plate quality and performance.

The first EcooGraphix Computer-to-Plate (CTP) system to be installed in Papua New Guinea was recently installed at BizPrint PNG by G2 Systems.
“This was a seamless integration with an existing Xitron RIP system also provided by G2 Systems previously, but the EcooGraphix T400 can interface with other existing RIP systems.”
Wareing added, “The project overall demonstrated that CTP solutions are now accessible at price points suited to printers looking to modernise ageing equipment while maintaining tight capital controls”.
